The Sitara Cup 2010

On February 11, 2010, the Adharshila School organized the first Inter-school Sitara Cup Cricket Tournament, sponsored by Delhi-based Friend of Adharshila, Mr. Pranay Sharma.

Meeting with the Vice President of India

The Adharshila students, along with members from Samrakshan's Self Help Groups and beneficiary farmers from villages in the Patar watershed, met the Hon. Vice President of India, Shri Md. Hamid Ansari on Dec.30, 2009.

The interaction went on for 45 minutes, and was followed by high tea hosted by the Vice President's Secretariat.

The students presented the Vice President with a wooden model of a bullock cart, crafted in Sheopur's special style.

The outing ended with a sightseeing trip of Delhi.
